About project

International Centre for Research on Innovative Bio-based Materials (ICRI-BioM) is a project financed within Horizon 2020 instrument – Teaming for Excellence. Partners were successful in the first phase of the competition and have been awarded close €500,000 to prepare sound Business Plan for establishing a New Centre of Excellence in Lodz, Poland.

By creative and collaborative efforts of teaming up with an excellent partner - Max Planck Society (MPS), partners from Poland and Germany aim to establish a new centre of excellence in the Lodzkie Region, Poland.

Centre for Research on Innovative Bio-based Materials will focus on design, synthesis, characterization and practical implementations/applications of advanced materials, exemplified by biomaterials, bio-products and multifunctional smart polymer systems.
